The CWRU online catalog provides access to approximately 2 million print and electronic book titles owned by the various CWRU libraries and affiliates. The OhioLINK catalog provides access to ten times as many titles. Patrons can request that "available" OhioLINK books (not owned by CWRU libraries) be sent to the law library via a courier service (in about 2-4 working days).
Patrons may renew most print OhioLINK books up to six times (126 days), if no holds are placed on the items. OhioLINK offers an extensive collection of electronic books, several of which are linked below.

The suppression of cross-border criminal activity has become a major global concern. An Introduction to Transnational Criminal Law examines how states, acting together, are responding to these forms of criminality through a combination of international treaty obligations and national criminal laws. Multilateral 'suppression conventions' oblige states parties to criminalise a broad range of activities including drug trafficking, terrorism, transnational organised crime, corruption, and money laundering, and to provide for different types of international procedural cooperation like extradition and mutual legal assistance in regard to these offences. Transnational Organised Crime by
The perceived threat of 'transnational organized crime' to Western societies has been of huge interest to politicians, policy makers and social scientists over the last decade. This book considers the origins of this crime, how it has been defined and measured and the appropriateness of governments' policy responses. The contributors argue that while serious harm is often caused by transnational criminal activity - for example, the trafficking in human beings - the construction of that criminal activity as an external threat obscures the origins of these crimes in the markets for illicit goods and services within the 'threatened' societies. As such, the authors question the extent to which global crime can be controlled through law enforcement initiatives, and alternative policy initiatives are considered.
