Overview

Overview

The CWRU online catalog provides access to approximately 2 million print and electronic book titles owned by the various CWRU libraries and affiliates. The OhioLINK catalog provides access to ten times as many titles. Patrons can request that "available" OhioLINK books (not owned by CWRU libraries) be sent to the law library via a courier service (in about 2-4 working days).

Patrons may renew most print OhioLINK books up to six times (126 days), if no holds are placed on the items. OhioLINK offers an extensive collection of electronic books, several of which are linked below.

Selected Monographs

Monographs are scholarly books on a narrow topic. Written by legal scholars and other experts, coverage may be more narrow than major treatises.

If the Law Library’s copies of these titles are checked out, additional copies may be available to borrow from other campus libraries or OhioLINK. The Law Library’s Interlibrary Loan service is another option for books not available at CWRU or via OhioLINK.
