After registering your Case Network ID you will be able to login to Canvas, the learning management system used by professors to post course assignments.

It's important to check your classes in Canvas. Many professors will use it to assign quizzes and readings that you will need to complete as part of your coursework.



Above is an example picture of what the Canvas Dashboard looks like. When you are on your dashboard you can click any of the classes to view that class.

Here are some important tabs to be familiar with for navigating in the class in Canvas.

  1. Home will bring you to the front page of the class
  2. Announcements will show any announcements the professor has made to the class
  3. Grades will bring you to a page were you can check your grades that the professor 
  4. Syllabus will bring you to the class syllabus
  5. Quizzes if your professor has added quizzes to canvas for you to complete they will be here
  6. Assignments any assignments (including quizzes) will be listed here
  7. Modules if the professor has chosen to break content up into different groups of assignments those will be here.
